about NLP

What is NLP?

Neuro-Linguistic Programming describes the essential processes of how people perceive themselves and their environment, act accordingly and

communicate.

NLP is dedicated to the study of human subjectivity. With the help of the knowledge gained, NLP opens up efficient and flexible approaches to goal- and solution-oriented changes for both individuals and groups. Like any other scientific discipline, NLP is constantly evolving through new research.

how it all started

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is a worldwide method that can be used for inner transformation. It is solution-oriented and is used successfully in coaching, consulting, psychotherapy, training, communication, management, teaching and sales.

NLP was born in the USA in the 1970s when John Grinder and Richard Bandler were studying how the best communicators of the time were teaching their clients how to deal with change. Today NLP is a much more complex method with the possibilities for everyone to better understand the inner processes, access their own resources and successfully implement changes.

study of subjective experience

People differ in the way they experience certain situations, themselves, other people, their relationships, their work and everyday life. Depending on how we perceive ourselves and our environment, how we think, how we feel and evaluate these feelings, one and the same situation can be experienced as pleasant and beneficial or as difficult and stressful. Based on studies and models of human perception and information processing, NLP makes us aware of the factors that control our experience and how we create our own experiences. On this basis, a large number of action models have emerged in recent decades.

People learn NLP for a variety of reasons: to solve personal problems, to improve their own performance, to strengthen their relationships with themselves or with others, or simply to enhance various aspects of professional life.

The NLP trainings include different levels. All member associations recognize the current curricula of EANLP eV. Based on this recognition, the member associations can also use the EANLP seal for the certificates of completion in addition to their own national seal. The EANLP seal stands for the mutual, international recognition of this NLP training.

According to the training guidelines of the EANLP, the NLP training courses Basic, Practitioner, Master, Trainer and Coach require at least 18 days of training for each level.
